escapism and the feeling of being trapped because of unending demands and lack of time is what I had on my mind with this one. I was feeling a bit insane and daydreaming of running away. Rather than use myself as the figurative representation I went with a female simply because 1) I prefer painting female figures and 2) I think women feel this way much more often than men.
